GENERAL CARE

Welcome to House Of Flowers Care! Here you will find all you need to know to make your flowers last longer and look greater. With little or o effort you can master the art of flower care with these care tips.

1. UNTIE FLOWERS

Unsecure your flowers from the bottom stems. Remove the scotch tapes or any protective wrapping.

2. CUT THE STEMS

Measure your stems to the height of your vase and then trim them all evenly so they fit. To help your flowers draw water, cut each stem at a 45-degree angle.

3. CHANGE THE WATER

Make sure you add flower food and change your water every 2 days. Also, keep your flowers out of direct sunlight!

CARING FOR ROSES

To care for your Roses trim the stems at a 45-degree angle, and remove the green, discolored outer petals (a.k.a. guard petals). Also, remove the majority of the leaves. Change the water and re-trim the stems every 2 days to maximize vase life. Some roses may have smaller blooms, and open different than others, it’s based on variety.

CARING FOR LILIES

Your Lilies will open, please just give them time! Like lots of our flowers, Lilies arrive in closed-bud form and will need time to hydrate prior to opening. To encourage them to open trim the stems and remove the leaves. To maximize vase life trim the stems and change the water every 2 days.
